Allen & Hoshall is offering an immediate and long-term career opportunity for a Project Manager with 7 plus years of experience. The individual must have architectural registration and proven experience in all phases of design and construction administration, including client interaction, leadership, and multi-tasking various projects. STRUCTURAL ENGINEER (5-15 YEARS, PE)
The responsibilities include the structural portion of the design team for projects in the Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Healthcare markets. Skill in promoting and marketing the firm and maintaining those client relationships is desired but not required. Design experience with structures of various sizes and materials, such as cold-formed steel, timber, structural steel, reinforced concrete, and masonry structures is required. A registered professional engineer license is required, SE or SECB is preferred but not required. Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required. Masters of Science in Structural Engineering preferred but not required. Experience in Construction Administration such as field observations and report writing, shop drawing, and submittal reviewing is required. The ability to plan and run a meeting is highly desired but not required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a minimum of 5 years of structural design experience are required. The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university and a minimum of 5-7 years of engineering experience. EI certification is required and PE registration is preferred. The candidate shall be familiar with standard design software such as AutoCAD and Revit as well as possess strong technical and design calculation skills. The candidate shall have a basic knowledge and understanding of various electrical systems currently utilized within various types of buildings; a strong work ethic; and the ability to work within a team of professionals.
