Allen & Hoshall’s experience includes city halls, administration buildings, courthouses, correctional facilities, utility buildings, public works complexes, fire stations, libraries, and other municipal buildings. We also provide engineering for roadway improvements, streetscapes, traffic signalization, drainage improvements, and related public works projects. Our staff of specialists serves as a single source of expertise for many municipalities throughout the Southeast.
Allen & Hoshall provided design services for a 12,430 SF fire station prototype. The project included two drive-thru bays, lobby area, sleeping quarters, living areas, kitchen, administrative space and a chief’s suite consisting of an office, bedroom, and bathroom.
The Gateway to the Blues Museum consists of a new 5,000 sq. ft. single-story structure that is adjacent to the Gateway to the Blues Visitor Center and Gift Shop.
Allen & Hoshall provided engineering and construction administration services for the Legends Park mixed income housing development, situated on the site of the former Dixie Homes housing project.
In June 2004, Memphis Housing Authority was awarded $22.5 million in federal HOPE VI funding for the project. The University Place development leverages more than $50 million from other sources of financing.
